David Goggins x Chris Williamson

Get ready to be inspired by the story of David Goggins, a living testament to the power of the human spirit. Despite a difficult childhood and numerous obstacles, he refused to let his circumstances define him. With unwavering determination and a never-give-up attitude, he transformed himself into a world-renowned ultra-endurance athlete, breaking records and pushing the boundaries of what was once thought impossible. If you haven’t already go and listen to him on the Modern Wisdom podcast.

  1. Mental toughness, like any other skill, is a perishable skill; practice it regularly.
  2. It only takes one second for you to fail at what you are pursuing. Don’t let your mind take control of you during that one second.
  3. Never be ashamed of anything you have done in your life. Face it, fix it, and make it better.
  4. Most success in life actually is avoiding failure.
  5. You don’t become confident by shouting affirmations in the mirror but by having a stack of undeniable proof.
  6. You got to have a dog in you. You got to be your own motivator. No one was coming to save you, save yourself.
  7. Don’t be soft in a world that continuously gets harder. Build a strong character that is capable of withstanding the pressures of life.
  8. You are always the purpose there may be another purpose like being a seal or going to college or whatever but the main purpose in life is you.
  9. You must have the desire to improve and it starts off with you having pride in yourself. Be proud.
  10. You will find peace if you go to war with yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have committed to a personal challenge of writing 30 essays in 30 days, and this is my 3/30 article.
